Project files in windows keep vanishing

Hi

I have a project saved but after a few hours or overnight all the .frm files and the .vbw file delete themselves without a trace.

I have reinstalled but no luck, wonder if its common?

I have a workaround by saving everything to a rar file every time I progress but its still slightly annoying.
